Should You Hire Bitovi for jQuery Consulting?

Justin Meyer What an excellent question! But before we get to answering, it's important to know that as a company, we care more about technology than our bottom line. If we're not a good fit, we'll happily point you in the direction of our competitors. If you are looking for some JavaScript or jQuery work, drop us a line and we'll help anyway we can.

What an excellent question! But before we get to answering, it’s
important to know that as a company, we care more about technology than
our bottom line. If we’re not a good fit, we’ll happily point you in the
direction of our competitors. If you are looking for some JavaScript or
jQuery work, drop us a
line

and we’ll help anyway we can.

Oh, one more thing … we are open to a fault. So instead of making you
read marketing dribble, I’ll break this question down into a few honest
FAQs.

Are you available for hire?

Almost always yes. There are 3 of us and we are always hungry for more
work.

How much?

Our hourly price vary on the nature of the work. We start at $160 an
hour. But if you have something that keeps us busy for months or is
EXTREMELY interesting, we’ll be happy to negotiate.

What type of work do you do?

We work on large Client-side JavaScript applications. Our specialty is
providing organization, training, and management advice. We leave your
team JavaScript gurus, your code organized, tested, and documented.
After we leave, you should never need us again.

Qualifications?

I think Bitovi is uniquely qualified for large-scale JavaScript/jQuery
development efforts. Brian and I worked for companies like GE and
Acceture. We know what it’s like working on huge, multi-million dollar
projects. At the same time ….

  • We’ve done nothing but work on big and complex JavaScript apps for
    the past 4 years
  • We speak at conferences (jQuery Con, JSConf).
  • We organize the JavaScript Chicago
    Meetup
    .
  • We built
    JavaScriptMVC
    to house our best practices.

We are a unique combination of the enterprise and the agile, the
creative and the rigorous, the new-school and the old-school. We are
hyper-qualified.

JavaScriptMVC?

JavaScriptMVC is a collection of the best tools and practices we’ve used
over the last 4 years. It’s a bunch of extremely useful jQuery
extensions that help organize, test, and document your apps. We often
get asked if JavaScriptMVC must be used on our projects. As everything
in JavaScriptMVC can work without everything else, we can use only the
parts of JavaScriptMVC that your project really needs. But,
JavaScriptMVC kicks serious ass, why aren’t you using it already?
